When you hear “stick foundation” I’m sure you think of a thick, full coverage, heavy wear foundation. Well, the makeup industry has evolved a lot and right now on the market you can find a lot of stick foundations, suitable for all kinds of skin types. Today I’m going to share with you my favorites and tell you why I think they are so great! Bear in mind, that foundation sticks are much more suitable for normal to oily skin types, but if you don’t have a very dry skin, you could work with them.
Bobby Brown Skin Foundation Stick
This is a foundation suitable for normal to oily skin. It has a good buildable coverage and is very resistant. I love that Bobby Brown has a lot of shades to choose from, so it’s pretty easy to find the right shade for you! You cand blend it with your fingers, sponge or brush, but I find that working it in to the skin with a kabuki brush works the best. If you have a normal-dry skin type, you could wear this, but make sure to hydrate before.
NYX Mineral Stick Foundation
Although this is a stick foundation, it is very hydrating, creamy and very lightweight. It blend super easy into your skin, you cand build it up to a medium coverage and I think this would work great even on dryer skin types. The color range is pretty good, but of course it could be better. I find it to work best with a wet sponge.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Stick Foundation
This is the stick version of the liquid HD Foundation. This works great on normal to oily skin type, it’s creamy, it has a lovely coverage and it looks fantastic in photos! You will find it in a lot of makeup artist’s kits because it works so well. For a more full coverage use it with a sponge and for a more natural finish blend it in with a kabuki brush.
Miss Sporty Really Me Second Skin Foundation
I really wanted to include a drugstore foundation as well. I found this one from Miss Sporty. At first I thought it would be very full coverage and heavy on the skin, but surprise! It’s very lightweight and you can build it up to a medium coverage. I like blending this in with a sponge and not so much with a brush.
Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation Stick
This one I find it very powdery, it blends absolutely amazing, has a medium coverage and it really lasts on the skin. I also have it in the darkest shade and I love using it as a cream contour because it blends so well! You can build it up, but for hiding blemishes, you will need a concealer.
Kryolan TV Paint Stick
Well… this is FULL coverage. Kryolan makes professional makeup for TV, theatre and movies, so of course their foundation stick is super full coverage. It’s amazing for photos, events, filming and it blends amazing! It is almost a camouflage foundation (almost!). I would blend it with a brush, but if you want that full coverage look, go ahead and use it with a sponge.

Atunci cand auziti “fond de ten stick”, sunt sigura ca va ganditi la un fond de ten greoi, cu acoperire mare. Industria de machiaj a evoluat foarte mult si acum, pe piata, puteti gasi o multime de fonduri de ten stick, potrivite pentru toate tipurile de piele. Astazi am de gand sa impartasesc cu voi preferatele mele si sa va spun de ce cred ca sunt bune ! Tineti cont de faptul ca fondurile de ten stick sunt mult mai potrivite pentru tipurile de piele normale pana la grase, dar daca nu aveti o piele foarte uscata, puteti lucra cu ele.
Bobby Brown Skin Foundation Stick
Acesta este un fond de ten potrivit pentru pielea normala pana la grasa. Are o acoperire buna si este foarte rezistent. Imi place ca Bobby Brown are o multime de nuante, fiind destul de usor sa gasesti nuanta potrivita pentru tine! Il poti estompa cu degetele, cu buretele sau cu pensula, dar cred folosirea unei perii de tip kabuki functioneaza cel mai bine. Daca aveti un tip de piele normal-uscata, puteti purta acest fond de ten, doar sa va hidratati bine tenul inainte.
NYX Mineral Stick Foundation
Desi este un fond de ten stick, este foarte hidratant, cremos si lejer pe ten. Se estompeaza foarte usor in piele, poti ajunge la o acoperire medie cu el si cred ca ar functiona foarte bine si pentru un tip de piele mai uscat. Selectia de culori este buna, dar desigur exista loc de imbunatatiri. Cel mai mult imi place sa il estompez cu un burete umed.

Acesta este varianta stick a fondului de ten lichid HD. Functioneaza pentru un ten normal sau gras, este cremos, are o acoperire frumoasa si arata fantastic in poze! Il veti gasi in kit-urile multor makeup artisti tocmai pentru ca functioneaza atat de bine. Pentru o acoperire mai mare, il puteti folosi cu un burete, iar pentru un aspect natural estompati-l cu o pensula de tip kabuki.
Miss Sporty Really Me Second Skin Foundation
Am vrut foarte mult sa includ si un produs accesibil. L-am gasit pe acesta la Miss Sporty. La inceput, am crezut ca va fi un fond de ten cu acoperire foarte mare, gros ca si consistenta, dar surpriza! Este foarte lejer si il poti duce pana la o acoperire medie. Imi place sa il estompez cu un burete, cu pensula sincer nu ma da pe spate.
Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation Stick
Acesta are un finish foarte pudrat, se estompeaza superb, are o acoperire medie si chiar rezista pe ten. Il am de asemenea in nuanta cea mai inchisa si imi place sa il folosesc ca si contur, tocmai pentru ca se estompeaza atat de usor. Il poti duce pana la o acoperire medie, dar pentru imperfectiuni mai serioase, vei avea nevoie de un corector.
Kryolan TV Paint Stick
Ei bine… acesta are acoperire MARE. Kryolan produce cosmetice profesionale pentru TV, teatru si filme, si desigur ca fondul lor de ten stick va avea o acoperire mare. Arata superb in poze, la evenimente si il clipuri si se estompeaza foarte frumos. Este aproape un fond de ten camuflaj (aproape!). Eu l-as aplica cu o pensula, dar daca vreti acel aspect de acoperire perfecta, folositi-l cu un burete.
Acestea sunt recomandarile mele cand vine vorba de fond de ten stick, le folosesc, imi plac, si dupa cum ati vazut, nu toate au acoperire mare si sunt grele pe ten. Sper ca aceasta postare v-a ajutat si daca aveti intreabri, nu ezitati sa imi lasati aici un comentariu sau sa imi dati un mesaj pe Instagram!
